I have a big box full of shredded junkmail for my rats to dig around in. they have a blast.
but just recently i have noticed cherry grabbing a big mouthful and then bouncing off somewhere to make a nest.
this time i caught the tail end of a bounce. i haven't searched my room yet so it will be interesting when i find the nest she seems to be creating. it probably blends in too well. my mom says my place is a rat's nest, anyway.
and she is right.

Cute! I shredded a bunch of documents a couple of days ago and was thinking too bad I don't have a rodent who could use this as bedding...alas, my cat doesn't have the same affection towards shredded paper.
