Letters from a Beloved Rat Dear Lord,
Thank you for my mama. You know the one, my human mama. She picked me! How awesome is that. She could have easily chosen another, but she heard me calling to her. She cuddled me on the way home instead of leaving me in the scary box, and gave me the most special foods that night to make me feel welcome. She has given me a new family and they are still unsure about me, but i think everything will be ok because my mama is there to keep me safe.

The rat's name was acutally Monster. he was a wonderful boy to his humans. he would come when called... boing boing boing.

during a christmas party at their house, i scooped him up and layed him on top of a pair of wings i had brought with me (which i had made, rat sized). he lay there long enough for me to get a good pic of him.

That is about the most adorable little boy rat I've ever seen. Our rat comes when we call, too, almost always.
